just change the exhaust and your set.....from the motor back..LT's, 0 CATs, and aftermarket mufflers...or get side exhaust....works for me but I love the whine of the Whipple (when i can hear it)

The Edelbrock E-Force does not whine and you can put that on your GT for less than the cost of a GT500.

I too would rather hear the V8 engine/exhaust sound over a high pitched whine. So I understand completely what taskmaster is talking about. The whine does not bother me, but if I had the choice, I'd skip out on the whine.

Ok so E-Force + FRPP Hot Rod cams + loud exhaust (with headers) = best V8 sound you'll ever want plus the power you want.

Another thing if I wanted to change the supercharger with a kennabell for a little more HP, what would I get for a used supercharger.

ohh where is the best place to search for a shelby in USA online
wow. ok, blower whine, YES. you want that. as stated before it's really not that loud unless you are in the throttle, but it's gonna whine when you floor it even if you're in 4th gear at 35 mph. KB's scream, so you won't be needing that. the stock exhaust is very quiet, so buying it for a V8 rumble will require exhaust like GT.

I agree with other suggestions, like the E force blower for power, and if you dont need cats, a Pro chamber and a nice chambered muffler with hot rod or thumpr cams will give you an amazing sound ( Ihad it on my 08 GT, and even with the turbo it was still very loud), adding headers (LT's) into the mix will make you wonder how you ever lived up until that point.

Go drive one, and then tell us how you really feel.

what's so alarming about a tool who's merely trolling this section?

Even the Mustang GT has a loud intake noise, so clearly (if this post were even real) the OP would be best advised to get a old Mustang and take the pipes off so he can hear that V8 rumble!
