How to protect the Shelby Signature on the airbag cover?

Any suggestions? Should one spray clear coat over the airbag cover to protect the signature (while the cover is removed obviously) - or will spraying the clear coat make the ink run?

Can you remove it? If so, get it Ghost Armored (www.ghostarmor.com) or something similar. If your afraid of it fading, window tint is probably a great indirect option. I don't know If you would want to spray it with clear. It wouldn't match the rest of your dash then.
