After cleaning and or waxing finish the job by using a coat of Final Inspection. Really helped my Black Shelby

I have these and they are excellent towels..they ONLY touch my paint..you need to separate the towels that touch paint vs ones that do anything else..and proper care of MF towels..no bleach, no dryer sheets

Sounds like maybe you need some lessons in paint care..Nothing is going to be better on your paint then a quality MF to remove wax and polish..if you think they will damage your car then let someone else clean it for you.
Oh yeah... btw...
Those microfiber cloths you suggested to buy
Are they good for waxing too?

I would also have to say Liquid Glass. I have a Black GT and Liquid Glass is the best that I've ever used. It's a polish. It even says you don't need to apply wax afterwards, just keep using LG. I put on LG after each car wash each weekend. It doesn't leave dust like other waxes and takes out swirls, watermarks, etc. I swear by the stuff. People always compliment how good my car looks when I ride around after putting on a coat.

I usually use my dual action orbital and start with a clean car, clay bar, compound, polish then Klasse High Gloss sealant (2 coats), and then top it off with your favorite non-polishing carnuba wax.

Otherwise Meguiars Gold class plus carnuba in the tin is my standby......

Each to their own though....
