Default RE: roush question

Hey, just noticed that you have the Roush short shifter, and I'm looking to get a short shifter. I just have a Stage 1, but would like to stay all Roush, but I've heard the Steeda Triax is a good shifter. What's your opinion on the Roush shifter?

Thanks,

Justin

Roush's shifter is ok, but not as good as the Steeda tri-ax. The biggest reason the tri-ax is better is it gives a much more positive feedback for shifts, with its spring loaded mechanism, sort of 'clicking into place' on shifts. Tri-ax is as good as anything, I think.

Roush's shifter is ok, but not as good as the Steeda tri-ax.
Have shifted through both? The ROUSH "shifter assembly" is very similar to the TRI-Ax.

...I'm not saying the Roush shifter is bad; it's pretty good, similar to Saleen's. It's just the Steeda tri ax is better.

I appreciate the imput guys....That's the next minor bolt on. I just put the Billet Alum Roush **** on the stock shifter (which is pretty sloppy), but I like the grip, much better! Can't wait for the new shifter....

Thanks again...

JFettsRoush
You might want to check out www.fnsweet.com there are a number of How-Tos that cover the shifter and ****, if you haven't already.
