Roush Mustang Rear Louvers

RE: Roush Mustang Rear Louvers
LOUVERS ARE BEYOND BEAUTY.
Have you done a wind tunnel test on the louvers? It shows how much they defuse the air as it passes over the back of the window (DECREASING DRAG)? You’ll be amazed.
It decreases the interior temperature of the car under direct sunlight significantly.
UV light transmission is reduced substantially on the interior seats, plastics, etc.
It protects infants from sunburns in the rear seat. Sit reversed at their level to find out how much.
It Limits or eliminates morning dew on the rear glass.
It reduces Morning frost on your rear window considerably.
Besides just “Beautyâ€
How can Louvers help you?
A lot, don’t you think?

RE: Roush Mustang Rear Louvers
As much as they may do all those things you listed above, you still need to list the following required items.
1) Mullet haircut (perm treated)
2) Aviator sunglasses with neck strap (brightly colored)
3)Wifebeater with mustard stains
4)PatBentar Cassetterocking out "Hit Me with Your Best Shot"
5) oh and lets not forget those High Top sneakers with the Reebok Pump to give you that extra air for you B Ball game.
As much as I like your GT 500 they fit better on a camaro or a firebird. However it does bring back some really fond memories
Cheers!

Visus ~For some reason the RoushLouvers don't look quite right. Speciallywhere they meet the trunk ? JMO.
The ones on the PJ, ( thanks Chuck ) look like they were Custom Made for the car. A beeter look and fit.
I just don't like washing and drying them.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you like the louvers, wonderful. However, in my opinion they are a little over the top. I know they were stock on the '70 Boss, but just because an item was stock does not make it right.
ORIGINAL: Kenardo
Tmack ~ FYI, the Louvers came stock on the 1970 Boss 302 Mustang. That's why they come on the 2007 Saleen Limited
Edition Parnelli Jones Mustang.

RE: Roush Mustang Rear Louvers
Tmack ~ I could not agree more, Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder. I would furhter suggest that Function vs Form and Originality claim higher preferencewhen decidingwhich features are included on a vehicle. When Fordadded the Louvers to theMustang of the late 60's and early 70's, I was more than just a little turned off by their appearance on the car. Now, some 35 years later I have the pleasure of owning a Saleen Parnelli Jones Mustang with the same Louversand they are still not my favorite part of the carhowever Heritage dictates that they shall remain on the car. That's the way this classical beauty was desgined. So in that case Stock does make it right. IMO.
