Default Meziere Water Pump questions

who has a meziere water pump? i just recently installed one on my car. i have one of those scan gauges that will show anything your computer will show. so when i had the stock water pump on i could see what temperature my car ran at. with stock pump and 180 thermostat i would run between 175-185 after i would get on it the highest it would go up to is 188. with the meziere i have been in the upper 190's in 40-75 degree days stock numbers are from summer 90 degree days. i feel like the meziere pump can't keep up. on the highway if i run over 1800 rpm the water temp steady climbs. the great thing about the pump is when the rpm do drop it cools down fast. does anyone know if there is a electric pump that moves more than 55 Gpm. i am really thinking of changing back. is there a better pump than the stock pump. is this normal for these meziere pumps. any input would be great

I don't know about your water pump, but no way you will move 55 GPM

Sounds like a 4-core radiator would be the way to go. BTW, what number of cores is your current radiator? You don't want to move water faster, but rather cool it more efficiently.

If you continue to run hot, upgrading to a more efficient radiator is the best way I know. I am sure some pepes will come up with alternate ideas, so keep checking.
