Default This would be something very interesting 2 know!!
Ok guys does anybody know "EXACTLY" what would be the TOP speed of a "Stock" saleen mustang? for example anything from 99-03..... I mean it looks hella-killer to see that 200mph speedo, but to be honest im kind of scared to top it out,I think the fastes i've gone is like 140 with no problem, but thats it... Anybody who has gone top speed??????? Im very interested in knowing......... THANXXXXXXXX

I did 145 when it was stock and feel it had a bit more to go. I would estimate around 160 with the stock 3.27 gears. The aerodynamics are not all that great and now that I am a bit older would be afraid of going airborn.

have hit the speed limiter in 5th @155mph on a dyno and 150mph on a private runway! stock with 3.55 gears

Just make sure you are on a track when you do it so as to not kill anyone...
