Did they make any changes to make tranny stronger on Boss Stang vs. 5.0 GT Stang?
I heard more than a few guys having problems with the manual trannys and clutches in their 2011 5.0 Mustangs.
Are the manual trannys in the 2012 Boss Stangs the same manual trannys as found in the 2011 5.0 Mustang GT, or have things been changed fortified for the Boss?
Are the clutches the same also?
Any known problems yet with the trannys on the new Boss?
Thanks in advance.

I appreicate the info bro on those links and the manual tranny on the 5.0 Mustang GT.
Can you guys let me know however if there if the manual tranny and clutch in the new Boss is the same tranny and clutch found in the 5.0 Mustang GTs (with manual trannys).
I'm assuming same trans and clutch for the 2 cars.
Thanks.

The difference in the Boss and the GT are, the Boss has forged engine internals (piston heads/rods, and crankshaft) a better suspension (shocks, struts, and swaybars), adjustable dampers, quad exhaust, Torsen differential, and Pirelli P-Zero summer only tires (about 1800 dollars for a set). Thats about all I can think of off the top of my head.
