Unhappy No Throttle Response with MAF

Ok Here goes. I have a 1990 Mustang 5.0 has b303 cam, GT40 iron heads, and 3.73s Other than that it's stock. It ran pretty well for a few months and then while driving home it just stopped responding to the throttle at all. I unplugged the MAF and the car idles rough, but the throttle responds just fine. So I order another MAF and put it on. I was told that if the other MAF matched my AFH55 that the other MAF would work. Replacing with this MAF didn't correct the problem, which is not to say that I could have bought a defective or incompatible MAF I did buy off of ebay. I scanned the car and didn't get a MAF code. I got EGR closed, and Throttle postion sensor out of range. I tested the tps voltage, and MAF voltage for continuity and made sure that they did increase when I moved the throttle and made sure that the MAF registered a change when I blew on it and freed up the EGR. I also replaced the tps and EGR with three other parts off of doner cars. TPS reads 1.14 volts resting, and 4.89 WOT. MAF voltage reads 0.10 off and rises to about 2.50/3.00 volts when I blow on it.
Anyway am I wasting my time checking all these parts? Should I just buy a new MAF sensor, and if so can anyone recommend an aftermarket MAF or should I just buy OEM why or why not. Thanks in advance for you input.
