wrx's are crazy on take-off if you were spinning and losing traction i don't see how it could be that close with an awd turbo car but reguardless good kills

No, it was turbo WRX. You can hear the thing from a mile away. I didn't spin out of control. Maybe the guy was a bad driver.

i don't believe that there is any such beast. all WRX's are AWD TURBO. now, there are some non turbo Impreza's like SI said, but all WRX's are turbo.

th e2.5RS is the non turbo edition of the wrx. nearly identical. no scoop+single exit muffler=2.5RS. real slow. good kill on the wrx and z28.

I meant prior to 2002... there's a stateside Impreza, but it's extremely rare here, and I'm not sure if it's turbocharged or not.

after 2002 there were two Impreza models

Impreza 2.5RS, 165 hp 166 ft lbs torque, 2.5L NA Flat 4, 4 doors, AWD, 5MT/4A
Impreza WRX, 227 hp 217 ft lbs torque, 2.0 Turbo Flat 4, 4 doors, AWD, 5MT/4A, hoodscoop, 16" rims.

In 2004 they were all redesigned with the addition of the STi

no, its not turbo. the first turbo impreza is the WRX. other subaru's (loyale, gl, legacy) came turbo in the 80's and early 90's.
