Thanks Stone! I've had my bouts with a couple of sn Cobra's, all very close. I definitely know that when we reach 100 I'll slowly be walked. Just means I need a little more heat. The Cobra owner actually wants to do a c head swap and intake first and then nitrous. He hasn't mentioned anything about a blower yet. Although he did mention that 4.30's were next on his list, I gotta get my d/s in stat and sticky tires, otherwise I'm cooked. I'm thinking of upgrading to 4.10's soon. Other than that my car would need cams and head work, something I'm kinda skeptical of doing. I'd rather begin a blower build but being on a student budget makes it a little difficult.

Yea, I hear you on the head/cam thing. I wouldn't go that route if I were you, not with 2V heads. 4.10s and some tires would put you into the lower 13s for pretty cheap. Could always toss a bottle in the trunk 2Vs love some nitrous!

A 100 or 125 shot is always on the back of my mind. Do you think it would be ok to use some giggle gas on. 115k motor? She is getting up there in mileage

Well, a 100-150 shot will no doubt put more stress on the entire drivetrain... its a judgement call really. As long as you used it sparingly and its tuned right, I wouldn't be scared of it, but that's just my opinion. 10 passes every other weekend, not so much, lol.
