here are the details of the race :

my car 2015 5.0 full bolts on , jlt intake , custom tune , 3:55 gears and 555r nitto tires.

my friend's car 2013 5.0 airaid intake , exhaust , mid pipe , hand held tune 3:31 gears .

I was having big issues with the shifter so i was holding the clutch longer than usual thus the big jumps of the car front end , third gear lockout with the stock shifter sucks since the race i upgraded to barton short throw shifter . we ended up doing 2 pulls a 45 and 30 with him getting the jump both times but by the end of third gear i was already passing him .

I was afraid of getting gear locked out so i was hogging that clutch a bit longer now with my new shifter i think i can pull more on him .

I haven't taken the car to the track yet waiting to swap to a aluminum driveshaft .
