Coil Overs
I know that jazzer is the man to ask suspension questions to so here goes another coil over thread.
The car will be a DD that will make monthly trips to the drag strip, the stock shocks/struts are blown, I'm running the UPR/Eibach prokit/
With that out there I am about to purchase a front col over kit from UPR and wanted some insight.
I will be getting the UPR front coilover kit with lakewood 70/30s, UPR or MM caster/camber plates, and will also be gettin j&m rear lower control arms with lakewood 50/50s.
I need help picking the spring rate up front. Should i go with the:
10"-375lbs
12"-250lbs
12"-350lbs
14"-130lbs
Or should I nut up and buy the MM front coil over kit and keep my UPR prokit out back?
Thanks

I am certainly a suspension dood, but my focus is specifically on quarnering, not quartering, I'm afraid
I can say that a heavy spring up front is NOT the way to go and would figure maybe the 14" 130# would be best of the choices given. I know that 375# would be quite heavy and for a serious corner-carver. 130# seems a bit light, but a 14" spring would help to support your car better with lots of cushy travel.
I can say that on the street, they would not be good for corners and would certainly drive very carefully at such times.
Hopefully Norm will chime in and be of more help. He is FAR more advanced than I in the world of ALL suspension and can surely offer some additional insight.
