Well i took the cobra out for a drive, and it has been sitting in storage for about 8weeks and it was nice out so i say what the hell,

anyways IM driving and the car is running great the then i start to here the squeak and then it just get louder and louder so i go home and swap out the supercharger bet for a new gatorback and the start up the car and its still making that noise and now i think its the other belt ? :shrug: so i go and pick up a new belt for that and now my problem is that i don't know what i have to take off to get the other belt off and the new one on??:shrug: is there any1 that can give me a little help on this one?

You sure its notone of thepulleys? Mine isnt s/c'ed, but I had a squeak --changed belts -- still there --changed pulley --gone.

u should be able to take it out by using the belt tensioner to losen it...and i agree with italia10588u should check ur pulleys

Get a new belt first. I had the same prob and a new belt fixed it. Its a cheap fix and takes maybe 20 min to replace. I suggest having two people for the install. One to turn the belt tensioner and the other to feed the belt around the propor pulleys. There is also a diagram of how the belt goes on the insid of your hood. If this doesnt fix it then check out your pulleys.

well i had had the car fixed for a while now (actually the same day as i posted lol) and found out that it was the belt that ran the powersteering


Well after i got it all off and got to take a good look at the belt i found a spot as wide as a thumb nail had was maikng the f-n noise so now that its fixed i went for a squeak free cruse


but after i had gotten into is and found out what i had to take off and fix it was a pretty easy fix, that if i had to do it again it wouldnt take me more then 1-2 hours
