Default Tokico D Specs

Anyone running these? Just traded off my GTO for a 99 Cobra plus cash. Came with D Specs and what I belive is Eiback Pro Kit.

These damn shocks clunk like crazy over every little pump. Sounds like s POS driving through a rough parking lot lol.

That isn't the shocks. Either someone screwed up, or there is something else wrong. My 97 cobra rattled over bumps when I first got it and the brake pad anti rattle clips were broken. I would start there. FYI though, the cobra will have a worse/noisier ride than that GTO.

Ohh I fully expect a worse ride than the GTO. Hell the whole interir seems like I'm in a Tin can compared to the GTO.

BUT I this rattle seems odd. I had the calipers/pads apart the second day I had it. It all looked normal to me from when I remember doing my Mach 1 brakes. The noise is front and back.

No CC plates, stock top mounts as well. But car is not THAT low to require CC plates anyways.

The clips aren't "broken" but I can rotate them 90* on the pads. I can't remember if they are supposed to be rivited in "firm" or if they are allowed to have some play in them.

Well give credit where credit is due...

JC316 you are prob right. I came across THIS thread and the video he posted is exactly the same as what my calipers do.

$8 later from AZ, I will toss them on tonight and hope for the best. Will need to wait until clutch parts come in until I can actually drive the car.
