Default IMRC shut closed

Ive been throwing a check engine light for the past few months and have noticed a lack of power at higher rpm. Im pretty confident that the IMRC's are gummed up. Before I go and pull the intake I was wanting to try using seafoam in a vaccum line to see if this may solve the problem. I have heard you need to figure out which vaccum line is evenly distrubuted to all the cylinders so I was told the brake booster. Problem is I have a 98 cobra and it is hydraulic controlled. Would the PCV valve be ok to use? Any input would be great.

You could always just pull the intake off and just clean it. I did it on mine in about 3 hours (start - finish) with a wire brush and three cans of carb/brake cleaner. Sprayed the IMRC valves with WD40 and now she runs like a champ. Well worth the time and MUCH cheaper than the delete kits.
