the stock gt 3500#'s correct camaro 3800, I don't see how this equals 600#'s in anyones math that someone else eluded to, why are these newer cars coming out so heavy?? even with using an aluminum block in heads the mustang is over 3500 and the camaro and challenger are pushing 4k.
why was the fox bodied mustangs so light?? they even had cast iron engine parts working against them

The correct weight of my car is 3530 lbs, I've put my car on a scale with a driver, it has a body kit and supercharger of 75 lbs (45 lbs for body 30 lbs for supercharger) and weight reduction of 60 lbs. The correct Camaro weight is 3915 filled with operating fluids for the top spec version and adding 170 lbs for a driver = 4085 lbs.
570 lbs.
The Camaro v6 weighs 3780 lbs that's not the right one in this case.

higher hp and tq doesnt always mean better, my freind got a brand new 09 5.7 liter V8 dodge charger in the fall, compared to my 4.0 V6 it had alot more hp and torque, but when it came to racetime......lets just say he was VERY disapointed in his baby...

I notice the one thing that everyone seems to be overlooking. While some major bolt-ons might pull a win w/ a good driver, some minor bolt-ons for the camaro will put it way ahead of the mustang w/ a blower the only option.
