Default track this friday!

As long as the rain stays away me and a few buds will be heading to the track. feel free to place bets on what I and what everyone else run...

I'll be going and plan on spraying the whole track this time. I'll borrow tc's 28" slicks if i ahve to. if I can hook on spray I'm hoping for an 11.2@126

tcstangerv6 is going(bolt on/vortech 2v that edges me out in 4th), i'm going to guess he runs an 11.8@117.

the silver gtp is going, he stayed about a half car behind me when i was on motor, and now he has a 75 shot. so I say he'll run an 11.6@119 spraying.

a turbo gtp is going, on his low boost(9psi) he was neck and neck with me on motor. I believe he has now upped it to 18psi and has a built trans with et streets so i'm gonna say he runs in the 10's at over 130mph.

hopefully the local ls1 will be going, it's a full bolt on with some suspension work and et streets, but still running the stock gearing. possibly will be spraying a 150 shot if he gets it hooked up. if he sprays i'm gonna guess he runs an 11.4@128.7, but i don't know much about ls's.

i think that's all the cars as of now. I'm pretty damn excited!

this was a big failure lol. it rained out about an hour after we got there. my best was a 12.7, the nitrous was making the car break up big time, not sure what's up with it. the nitroused gtp broke his trans on his run, the turbo one couldn't hook on his low boost setting, but even on low boost he trapped 117. and tcstang was the only one that got a decent time of 12.3 at 113 fresh off the car ride there. was not a good night lol.

damn.

I would stop spraying until you figure out the issue.

what is your gap length on your plugs?
what all are your ignition upgrades?
timing?

i think my nitrous solenoid is starting to eff up. when i sprayed on the track i don't think the nitrous was spraying, cause it was hella rich and ran like poop. my afr's were at around 10.5. then i left and tried spraying in 4th just to see if it would work, and at 3k it didn't kick on like saposed to, but at like 3800 it just came on and pulled great. i'm thinking i'll just invest in a new one, my fuel solenoid was bad when i got the kit so maybe this one's going too.

well you can test it without the bottle.

just turn the key to give it power, arm the switch, then hit the WOT switch with your hand on the solenoid , you should be able to feel that ****er move pretty good, and snap open/shut.

if it feels like its barley doing anything, then its probably ****ed.

idk, might act different with pressure behind it.

a rebuild is pretty cheap if you want to wait while you ship it to them, they fix it, then ship is back.'

make sure to check your grounds, they should be to a VERY good ground source such as the rails

yeah i gotta try and test the solenoids tomorrow. maybe my micro edge took a **** on me or something. i tried using it tonight and when i sprayed against a bike it worked but it broke up just a little bit. then tried using it against a couple mustangs and a gto about an hour later and it didn't work at all. neither the nitrous or the fuel solenoids were working, so i'm thinking that somehow my microedge decided to take a poop.
