you should see a 8.2 for sure if not faster. the 4.10's/lt's/suspension work you have over me should prove for atleast a .2 faster 1/8 mile time i would assume. I trapped 82 in the 1/8 so i would guess a 83.5 or so for ya.

Automatics typically show much more gain from a tune on the track than a manual. I went from a 14.2 to a 13.7 with no other changes besides a dyno tune in my TBSS. A tune will firm up your shifts, increase shift pressure, move your redline up, and change where in the RPM your shifts take place, not to mention increased timing so you ca run higher octane and make more HP. Its worth the $300, trust me. I've had every Ford and GM I've owned in the past 6 years tuned and have never regretted it.

you dont have any type of a tune at all wannabe? I figured with an auto car and gears it would be kind of a necessity.

I have a 87 tune on my Diablosport. Meaning it's the stock tune but I have modified it to correct for the gears, adjusted shift firmness and shift points.

I'm just a little skeptical a dyno tune on a basically stock Mustang would make that much of a difference.

why not bump up to the 91/93 octane tune? I get what your saying now tho. Seeing as how I have a handheld tune already I also would not pony up for an actual dyno tune at our levels. Wouldn't be worth it imo.

You can expect anywhere from a 10-20 gain. I know its a broad range, but all dynos are different as are tuners. Going to a 93 tune should definitely gain you at least 15 more RWHP.

On the plenum and tb deal my buddy picked up 13rwhp and a crap load of tq with the revised tune for it.... I dont see an issue tho going with a good dyno tune over the hand held tuner.

On the times i could see you easily going 8.3's and possible 8.2's. On a high 8.2 pass if the car still pulls well up top a high 12.9@103-4ish could def be done!!

Well more bench racing lol

I will be running a 75 shot when I go to the track. I don't know what times I should expect. If I had to guess I'd say 8.0-8.1...?

I'm only running a 75 shot because that is the biggest shot Alan suggested I run since I didn't get the billet front cover.

I just finished up the front end suspension stuff and I have an appointment for an alignment on Wednesday so I'm planning on going to the track this Friday. I don't know if I will have the nitrous hooked up by then. It supposed to be delivered Wednesday so we'll see how much time I have to hook it up.

And trust me I'm very anxious to see what it runs. Last time I went to the track I had an exhaust only, 5 speed.
