I'd like to see this run from a dig, personally.

Ninja edit.... that GTO needs a cam on top of full exhaust and tune in order to hang with a pulleyed Cobra.
dig runs not gonna happen. it's 30 degrees here and both cars are on lackluster street tires so a dig would end up to be a smoke show.

that would kinda defeat the purpose of a stock vs stock race lol.

Whoever thinks they are a close race needs to be on meds IMHO. Since the GTO is an A4 there is an even greater difference in traps.
from a roll yes, a short race from a stop could prove pretty even ground against an A4 tranny in a lot of cases as the low torque of the terminator is very difficult to plant on "stock" tires through the short 1st gear in that T56

after the cobra catches traction it's just a matter of catching up though, it's no secret a terminator is faster than a GTO stock for stock

for some reason I've always wanted to see a stock terminator vs. a stock night rod from a low roll... that should be interesting, night rods go 0-60 in about 4.0 seconds and 0-100 in about 10 seconds... but they only trap around 110MPH, should be a pretty fun race, jump from the bike and a slow reel in from the terminator IMO

True, that would make for a pretty entertaining race.

I'm not sure what speed they're going to start at, but if the GTO can be locked in 1st or 2nd gear at 4500 RPM, he stands a good chance of getting that intial jump. Its what I did when I ran Hangwire's Kb GT and it gave me a little lead....and then he cruised on by after a few seconds, lol.

I think they said 30mph, it's hard to do anything against a car that traps that much more than you do

Here's a pretty good idea of where both cars stand. Only thing is the GTO in the vid is an M6.
