Same here, an LS2 A4 GTO is definitely a quick car stock, but it doesn't have anywhere near enough top end to keep up with a stock Cobra. He needs a tune and full exhaust to trap in the low teens like the Cobra does. Should still be a fun race though.
I'd like to see this run from a dig, personally.
Ninja edit.... that GTO needs a cam on top of full exhaust and tune in order to hang with a pulleyed Cobra.

after the cobra catches traction it's just a matter of catching up though, it's no secret a terminator is faster than a GTO stock for stock
for some reason I've always wanted to see a stock terminator vs. a stock night rod from a low roll... that should be interesting, night rods go 0-60 in about 4.0 seconds and 0-100 in about 10 seconds... but they only trap around 110MPH, should be a pretty fun race, jump from the bike and a slow reel in from the terminator IMO

from a roll yes, a short race from a stop could prove pretty even ground against an A4 tranny in a lot of cases as the low torque of the terminator is very difficult to plant on "stock" tires through the short 1st gear in that T56

I'm not sure what speed they're going to start at, but if the GTO can be locked in 1st or 2nd gear at 4500 RPM, he stands a good chance of getting that intial jump. Its what I did when I ran Hangwire's Kb GT and it gave me a little lead....and then he cruised on by after a few seconds, lol.
