Default SCT Tuner and new Rear Gears

I have a SCT tuner with custom BAMA tunes from American Muscle. My car is a 2008 Mustang GT 5 speed manual trans with a Airaid CAI. I am having 3.73 rear gears installed next week. My question is can I reset the speedometer with the SCT tuner with ought messing up the Bama tune I am currently running or do I need to get all new tunes from Bama? The tunes I have were all written with the CAI installed. The only thing new on the car will be the 3.73 gears.

You can change the options for just the gears.

you go to adjust options on whatever tune you are running, then you hit "select rear axle ratio"

Yes, we can definitely adjust for your 3.73's. Just give the Bama team a call and they'll make the proper adjustments to your tune and send you out a revised file! This will not affect the tune itself.

This is correct. Be aware though, on automatic cars, although this is OK, other parameters should be changed so as to not affect a/d cancel override, learned N/V of the vehicle, and other parameters. This is usually a bigger deal with the higher gear rations. This is why, on automatic cars, we usually do not enable the gear-ratio end-user adjustable option.

On manual cars, these things are a non-issue.

A little of topic, but how does she feel with those 3.73 gears. I have a 08 GT manual with the Airaid CAI insert removed and I just installed a set of JBA LT headers. I'm also using a BAMA configured tuner.
