Default SCT Livewire TS firmware update questions

Bought the SCT Livewire TS with lifetime tunes that will be here on Monday, and had a few questions.

1. Do I need to run the SCT firmware updater when I get it? Or does Bama do this after they load the custom tunes.
2. If I run the SCT firmware updater in the future will it erase the Bama custom tunes and reload the "stock" tunes from SCT?

I have had tuners in the past, but never anyting with custom tunes. So any other recommendations you have will ge greatly appreciated. Thanks

Good stuff! You're going to love that tuning device and your Bama custom tunes.

Yes we make sure the device is updated. However, it's not a bad idea and is definitely recommended to just plug your device into your computer real quick and make sure it's completely up to date! This process will not wipe your device.

Hope this helps! Hit the Bama team up with any questions at all and they'll gladly help you out. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
