I know that there is a crotch brace for the front to hook the one belt to, but I haven't sean anything specific for the rear. For the rear straps, run them to the floor and use a mounting kit and mount it to the lower seat bolts.

Ahh, okay. One harness came with i bolts, but the other didnt, so i was just gunna run to the hardware store. I normally wouldnt worry so much, but there my freaking seat belts, so i just wanna make sure i fully understand what im doing before i drive with them.

Shoulder belts mount right to the bar, not the floor.

Eh, I'd have to get my hands on it to decide on that one, just doesn't look as safe as it could be. Maybe its just how I'm lookin at it though.

Shoulder belts are designed to pull straight back to the mounting point not around a bar to the mounting point, therefore they need to be mounted to the bar not the floor. same thing with lap belts, that is why seats with hip bolsters have holes for the belts.

That's why I would just use the bar as a pivot, not a mounting point.

I finished install with the bar. The driver side floor belt bolt gave me soooo much trouble fitting back in. And the bolts connecting the floor rods weren't long enough to hold the nuts, so we had to get that too.
