That is correct 94/95 Mustangs used a speedo gear. It's easy to change when you perform gear swaps in the rear but there is a down side. The stupid things are made of plastic and wear down faster than you think so you'll be going and speedo works, speedo works, speedo works.....then DEAD!!! Nothing jack the car up, pull out the clip, unscrew the gear, and boom stripped. Order one for $5 and you're good to go for a little while.

I have 3.73s in my 5.0 and found the right one from www.mustangsunlimited.com
It's the 3.55 gears that's the problem.

Since I'm such a nice guy here is the gear you need for 3.73s with a manual, it's the 23 tooth speedo gear.
