Drive shaft Problem
Car Information:
1994 Mustang V6, Manual Transmission, Stock Everything, 95,000 miles.
the Problem im having is the drive shaft is rubbing against the parking brake lines, there is about a finger space between the drive shaft and lines. I've already replaced u-joints and there was no difference. The problem with this is the noise from the rubbing is a super loud and annoying scrapping/scratching sound. I have looked for the possible cause and solution to this problem but have found nothing on other forums. I think it could be the rear suspension (i.e. shocks..ETC) could be worn out.
Anyone who can provide a solution to this problem without the use of a torch!! Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this has been posted before, just send me a message about it if it has and i will delete this post! Thanks again.

Its not your shocks, shocks control spring oscillations. If anything, your springs could be worn. You dont need a torch to remove them either. Check your curb height against the manufacturers specs, that should tell you if your springs are sagging.

Had a chance today to measure the ride height, its not too far off of the manufactorers specs, from a glance there appears to be no sagging seems leveled. I have to get underneath and check the rear end. I guess im looking for anything worn, Bushings, springs, ..etc

I got underneath the car and the rear End stops were fine, the springs, control arm bushings and shocks all look and respond fine, from looking underneath it looked like the front end was maybe a little too low, although from the outside it looks to be stock height. I fear it is time to seek professional help!!
