Default 1996 Ford Mustang V6 Alternator Question...(Need Help Fast, Thanks!)

Ok, so the alternator went kaput on my 1996 Mustang, my question is, can i use an alternator from another vehicle? I was thinking of hitting up a pick your parts & was curious what my choices were. If so, i'd like to possibly grab a "3G" (100-130 amp) alternator, if it is possible for me to use an alternator from another vehicle, which ones have the "3G" alternator? I'd really appreciate any help, thanks.

Im fairly certain that the ford rangers had the same alternators, and the mustangs stock alternator is 110 amps i think. I just had one go out in my 2001, it was like $130 at napa, but i got it for like 60 being an employee

TBirds & Cougars of the same generation also run your 3.8. Most of the parts are interchanangeable.
