Default Replacing stock V6 hood with Cobra hood

Will it work?
I want to replace my stock V6 hood with a Cobra one?
I like the stock bumper, besides i just got a new one paid to get it painted too. And its already on the car.
But now the hood as some issues and I thought it might be cool to go ahead and replace it with an aftermarket, Cobra hood.

Any one done this and have pics?

Never done it but it's in the works. Check out google, plenty of people have done it before.

Where are you going to get the hood from? Unless its a OEM factory hood watch out as the aftermarket ones a crap and will not line up properly. Just a heads up.

Are all aftermarket ones pieces of junk? I was looking at http://www.autobodyfit.com/products-...1996-1998.html

I used this place for a fender and my bumper too. Prepainted, looked and fit well. I do know the hood is a much bigger piece. This potential for more problems.

Ive never ordered from them before so I cant speak of their quality. But you also have to remember that the hood will have more stress placed on it then say a fender or bumper because the hood it lifted and lowere alot, the bolts will have alot more stress on them, and you have to "drop" the hood to close it. All of those reasons are why I go with OEM over aftermarket.
