Exclamation Swapping Cats with Resinators??

I have a 2000, 3.8 with factory y-pipe & magnaflow dual exhaust conversion. Im looking for more of a growl and was thinking of cutting out 2 of my cats and clamping/welding SLP resinators? What do you guys think? Will it sound ricey? Any tips on doing this thanks a lot!

Ive never heard a catless v6 s197 sound good. i dont imagine this would be much different. it will be loud, but not good. If you want to remove cats i suggest going with long tubes.

I recently heard a V6 with no cats and it sounded horrible. Also, if you remove your cats you will fail NJ emissions tests.
