Idle/accelerating problems...
I purchased the BBK Throttle Body and Cold Air Intake for my 2004 V6 3.9L manual Mustang as well as a Bama tuner. I have lately been experiencing some pretty serious performance issues and am curios as to whether or not you think it could be due to the installs.
The issues:
1) Idle RPM is, on average, between 900-1100 rpm.
2) Idle RPM occasionally jumps to nearly 3000 rpm and stays there for a few seconds.
3) Accelerating is nearly impossible. Whenever I put my foot to the gas the car sort of chugs along as if it can barley handle the accelerating.
4) Check engine light for TPS sensor has happened twice in about 6 months.
I have replaced the TPS both times and the check engine light has gone away both times but it comes back and the issues are still there. I even checked the voltage on my TPS and it was fine at about 0.98V.
Do you guys have any idea what may be going on? Perhaps I have an exhaust leak? Is it bad to put on a new CAI and wider TB without changing anything else? I will be going on a 17 hour drive tomorrow and am concerned this will be a problem.
I am quite new to working with cars so I apologize if this is clear. I appreciate your time, though!

i had a similar issuse, and come to find out it was spark plugs. but there are other cases that will cause similar problems, like fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, bad wires, bad coil pack, and clogged cats. i would try the spark plugs and cheaper fixes first. good luck.
