Pop up sunroof

I'm going to put in a pop up sunroof on my 95 mustang
But the dome light is right i the middle of the roof

How should I handle that?

Really want a leaky piece of plastic in your roof? Never had a t-top that didn't leak and I hear sunroof is even worse.

Mine just started leaking after the 6th year. I have to tale it apart and put a new adhesion on. I put the lights behind the sunroof. It is not the same. I would not recommend putting your lights there.

Get a convertable rear view mirror. That has the map lights in it. Wire that to the dome light wiring and they will come on with the door.

While you've got the mirror out of a car replace the bulbs with led bulbs.
