If you saw one installed on a mustang I highly recommend grabbing it all! I have a manifold but haven't gotten around to fabbing all the brackets to install it yet.

Should I trade in my V6 with only 88,000 miles for the V8? What are the risks in getting a Ford Mustang GT for 132K miles?
If you can convince them to even trade go for it, but that's not bad mileage just go over it THOROUGHLY. As long as it runs fine and isn't beat up you should be fine.

Just looked through carfax

It has been involved in a left side fender bender accident in '12

Should I still go for it? Its an auto but I dont care, i want a v8 badly

just because it was wrecked doesn't mean anything other than really look it over good. As long as it was fixed correctly it wont affect anything except bargaining power.

I, personally, wasn't that impressed with the 2v perf over my sixxer. Even my 3v and G/F ls3 vette starts to feel slow after awhile.

Sounds good
Does anyone here think its a bigmistake?

If the seller agrees to the trade I'll miss those saleen wheels. I'll also miss the competition orange (recently got the car painted from black to comp orange)

I' m excited to test drive it Monday. With a few bolt ons and more aftermarket support for the 4.6 car would be damn good. It'll be an auto but who cares

I would pass. Yes you would be getting a GT like you want, but you would be settling for a auto, which it sounds like you don't want. You will never truly be happy with the car because of this.

I'll get over it though
I want to experience the GT...I've never experienced a V8. The bolt ons to the 4.6 will respond better to the 3.8

But this all depends how the car runs and if the guy even wants to do the trade.

I would hold off on that car. Price isn't bad and if they're agreeing for equal trade that's not a bad deal, but the autos are going to slow down the GT quite a bit. The autos are usually 1/2 to 1 full second slower than a manual GT of equal year and with equal semi-experienced driver ability.

Now the upside to the trade is if you want to trade that GT in for something else, like a manual with less miles, it will be worth more upon trade in than the V6. That's something to think about.

The minor accident on car fax isn't a big deal, and neither is 5 owners. I doubt the car has been owned by 5 people Usually the way that happens is when somebody traders the car to a dealer, they don't sell it, and then auction the car to another deal, who then sells the car to a person. Each dealer, from carfax point, acts as an owner.

Hello everyone to update this:
I test drove the GT today, and off the bat while I was driving it a Check Engine light showed. Yeah right as if I'm going to buy this car. What are the odds of me driving the car for a test run and the check engine light shows? Sounds like these guys just disconnected the battery to reset the codes

2nd issue: I smell burned oil

Not buying this car. A little too many scratches for a black vehicle. I'm passing on it. Unless I can find another GT whether automatic or manual and it's in good condition I'll keep with the 6 in the mean time. Thanks everyone by the way for the help

Time to get the chin spoiler + grille delete lol

Miles really depend on how it was taken care of, just because your car has 88k on it doesn't mean the previous owner didn't beat the **** out if it, if you want a GT it's a good deal but then your going to want a Mach 1 or a cobra. New edge GT are cheap and a dime a dozen now so if you want one go for it,

Or find a used pro charger to stick on your car and you will be able to beat GTs
