Question 1994 Mustang 3.8, 5spd... no wipers, radio, or windows...

Ok I have a 94 mustang that the wipers module went out on about a year ago. I hooked up a toggle switch and that worked until a few days ago, when the switch went out. The toggle was hooked up to the fuse box, and I put an inline fuse in the switch wiring. This is how I've always had it since the module went bad. Well When replaced the switch, I wired everything up just to make sure it would work, and it did. I went inside and soldered/heatshrinked everything together came back out and hooked it back up, and nothing.... The switch wasn't working. Then I noticed the windows weren't working either, and neither is the radio. I checked all fuses and C.B's and they're all good.... Am I missing something, anyone have any idea what else this could be? The radio, if I push the power button, will beep. I even took it out to check the fuse in the back of it and it was good. I'm stumped and really don't want to take it to my local electric place that charges $80/hr for diagnostic, but might not have a choice.

How did you hook up this toggle switch? It sounds like you fried something if you are positive the fuses are all fine. How did you check them? Visual inspection or actual multimeter? A fuse can visual look fine and have a break so small or at just the right spot that you can't see it looking at the fuse.

I just hooked it up through the fuse box. And I put an inline 30 amp fuse so I wouldn't blow anything this worked for almost a year but burnt out switch when wipers got froze to my windshield.

ALL the fuses?? And okay, good that you didn't hack up the harness, get a good multimeter and check either volts going through each fuse with key on, or pull each fuse and check resistance on each one. Either way will tell you if its good. If you're tight for money a cheap test light and key on can tell you if they are good.

I just took it to a guy that a friend referred me to, and he just called and said nthat he couldn't figure it out either.... But I'm not sure how much he knows, just kind of desperate right now.... I am picking the car up tonight and I will get a test light and see what I come up with... So if there's no power going to it or the test light doesn't light up, then what? Yes I checked all the fuses and even replaced a couple to see if that's what it was. I will check and see if I'm getting power to the fuse box.

Everything that is circled in blue and starred on the right is what has no power. I took fuses out and there's no power coming to the box for those fuses.... Any ideas?

Here, hopefully this one works, sorry about that.... But I visually checked the fuses, haven't put the test light on them yet(under hood) are there any under there that would control all of these fuses. Like I said, there's no power going to the fuse box at these fuse locations that are circled...
