Its a great car, my convertible was described the same way, only thing im missing is the gauge emblem, stripes, and emblem near charge point, i have the color, minus the stripes and the correct leather interior. I suspect the original purchaser was conned into buying all the extra options separately instead of together in the 40th package which would have come out to cost more than the package. Doesnt really make any difference in value though from what i have found.

yup, plus having the "base" means I can add what I want and delete what I don't want and plus I am planing on saving up money and buying a Ford OEM sat nav system for this car and putting it in...and calling that the "premium" option HEHE!! well at least deluxe....

I've got fabric seats in my POV 2000. The work car (also a 2000) has vinyl seats, which is pretty much like having leather. I've had leather seats in cars, and MUCH prefer cloth, especially on a hot day, where the sun has been cooking the seats to branding-iron temps. Give yours a good month of driving, and if you still are wishing you had the leather, go for it.

Just remember that not all who wander are lost, but most of those who are lost are following the GPS . . !

oddly the GPS I have I don't use as its intended (directional assistance) but I use it more like google maps, I just turn it on so I have a digital atlas on display kinda like having the paper book in my car but a digital version that takes up less room, anyways I guess I should start using a GPS like its supposed to be and thats for voice directions….

You will have the voice on for about a month before you mute it. At least I did.

like I stated I don't even use the voice bit, all I do is just turn it on and let it display the map (i use it so I know what streets are coming up next) and use it to reference where im going, as for the GPS map giving bit I rarely use it for that part...its just a digital atlas to me...
