Default 94 mustang 3.8L over heating

I have a 94 mustang 3.8L that is over heating and the fan is coming on. I took it to the shop and brought them a thermostat and had them replace it, it was stuck shut, so I thought that was it. Well I paid him and took it home and on the way home it's over heating again. I took it back to him and he's had it for over a week now, and I'm really pissed, he just doesn't seem to want to mess with it, he was talking about replacing the fan, even though it was coming on, so I am going to pick it up tomorrow and try to fix it myself. I have read that these mustasngs the CCRM is a common problem, but I want to make sure that I have checked everything else before I replace that. What else should I be checking?

Well I've been doing a lot of research and it seems like it's the CCRM, so I'm going to the junkyard today to pick one up, if that doesn't work, then I'm just going to wire a toggle switch through a relay. But as of right now the fan does not come on with the AC and then starts to over heat, even without the AC on.

never mind thanks for everyones help. I figured it out, the fan itself is going out. I turned on the ac and pushed the fins by hand it started going. now the fan is running when it's supposed to and the car is no longer over heating. So I'll be buying a new fan.

Sorry Ive been busy a lot and haven't been here to see threads. Sorry no one caught this thread. Glad ya fixed it! Had a fan problem on a 85 TA once and had to simply wire it to on if switch was on.
