That kit wont work without replacing the midpipe. putting him over the $500 budget.
The loud raspy head turning sound you get from these v6 engines isnt going to be what you are expecting. As they get louder and raspier they start sounding like an import with a fartcan

Buy the pacesetter longtube with x-pipe bundle. Should be about $350 + free shipping.
Get a shop to run them to the sides or axle dump. Think he should charge about $80. Turn them down to quiet it down a little. Reduce the end piping to about 2.25" you have yourself a loud tru-dual.

Loud and v6 do not go together, high flow catted mid pipe and chambered mufflers are a good start, if your manifolds are cracked order a set of LTs

When I had an 00 V6 i purchased mac Shorties and a pypes dual exhaust system. It had hi-flo cats, Xpipe and turn down tips so it didn't look like crap with the bumper being cut up or tips sticking straight out from under the bumper.

The only thing that sucked was they were not a bolt-in product. They required some cutting. It sounded really good but not overly loud unless I went WOT or held high RPMs. It just sounded nice, like the V6 shoulda sounded. For loud, the cheapest is straight pipes with an X pipe.

You won't get loud and raspy out of a 6... I've had two different setups on mine and it was either loud and droned out at 70 mph or I got a nice deep throaty sound that was closer to what I wanted. I've currently got my stock headers running to a offroad x-pipe with dual flowmaster 40s and 3 inch tips. Gets me a nice deeper tone and sounds way better than stock but out of a 6 you'll never be able to get loud and raspy like you hear out of the 8s.
