Why repair it when "new take off" will sell you one the same color for $200. By the time you get yours painted it will cost that much or more for the fix.

Stealership bumpers cost upwards of $500 unpainted. Painting may cost about $300. Replacing the bumper with a NTO also requires the grill too at NTO's price of $149. That brings his total from $200 to $349 plus shipping would be around $400. Then, you'd need to get the wiring harness adapters for the GT lights and the inner fender shields for the GT bumper. He wants to keep his pony package lights and I believe he looked but couldn't find the color for his car either. There is bound to be someone in his area that has done the GT swap on their V6 that would be willing to let the bumper go cheap. Thats where I'd start looking, especially if I wanted to keep the pony package lights.
That being said, Ninosport sells the bumper for $299 with free shipping and they had my color where NTO did not. I also found a grill with the lights for $99 so I paid a grand total of $435 which included a wiring harness I fabricated myself. The wiring harness currently powers the fogs by taking the low beam wire on the passenger headlight and tapping a 12V relay that is connected to the lights and the power distribution box. Fogs work on low beam and go off on high beam. Maybe later I'll spend the money for the switch swap.

i had a question. my friend works at an auto repair shop and asked his paint guy about my bumper, the dude said it wouldn't be worth fixing since it'll crack with fluctuating temperatures...is this true? i find it hard to believe that there's no permanent fix to this small crack.

Duramix is a 2 part urethane mix made for bumper/plastic repairs.
It comes in different rates of firmness... The soft kind for bumpers and the harder kind for rear spoilers etc...
