foglight question

Default foglight question

I searched for 30min and cant find any thing about putting gt foglights on a v6, does anyone know if there is a how to on the fourm or anywhere else for this?

I couldn't say but from an electrical standpoint, both the V6 and GT OE lights are 55W despite being different bulbs. In other words, the power requirements are the same.

Are you talking about the GT grille w/ the fog lights? If so they won't fit.

Nuke, if you look at the actual OEM 9145 bulb, they are 42W not 55W...
Almost 4 amps draw.

Thanks, 157db. I stand corrected. That equates to about 1 amp per lamp additional load for the GT lamps over the V6.

Apples to apples.
The amp load is not enough different to worry about.
Ford didnt put V6 fog light harnesses in and make GT
fog light harnesses any different from the V6 fog light
harnesses.

10G = 30A
12G = 20A
14G = 15A
16G = 12A
18G = 10A
20G = 8A
Thats for runs under 10 feet
