Default Clutch question: torsion damper springs

I just pulled my stock clutch and replaced the flywheel. Am about to install a new Rhino Pac clutch, but noticed that those little springs in the clutch hub, the ones inside of the four torsion damper springs, slide freely within the larger spring with about 1/4" of travel. In the original clutch, these smaller springs are the same length as the larger springs and anchored at each end. My question is this: is Rhino Pac's version defective or an intentional feature, and if it's intentional, will this setup cause a lot of noise? I don't want to install until I'm sure this new clutch won't make a lot of racket. Thanks for any help.

the springs will be pushed outwards by the force of rotation, so they wont rattle when spinning. its most likely their design, my spec clutch had a different spring setup as well

Make sure you got the correct part for your production date. Don't quote me, but I believe 2007 is when they switched flywheels to the single mass to the dual mass.

jwog666, you were right, they don't rattle at all. Also, I failed to notice this new clutch has five sets of springs, not 4. Anyway, it's all installed, no problems whatsoever. Much grippier than the stock clutch, even better than when the car was new. I find myself trying hard not to chirp the tires as I break in the new clutch. Also, the engagement feels a little smoother, possibly owing to the different spring system. A big, time-consuming project, but totally worth it for the savings and improved performance, plus I ended up with a few new tools. Thanks for the help.
