Gas mileage for 2089 mile road trip
The trip started in Tucson, from there I went east to New Mexico, then north to Colorado Springs to spend a few days with family for fathers day,
then north and west to Utah and down to Bryce Canyon,
and then south back down to Tucson, Arizona.
My car is mostly stock 2013 3.7/auto, with 3.55 gears and MPT tune.
Normally I use a 91 tune since that's readily available in the Tucson area
but for the trip I put in the 87 tune just in case I couldn't find higher octane gas.
The car performed flawlessly for the whole trip and the overall gas mileage average for 2089 miles was 27.5 mpg, with a high of 29.8 and a low of 24.6.
The lowest mileage was in Utah where the speed limit was 80 mph instead of 75 like the other 3 states I drove through,
apparently that made a substantial difference.
