Adding Bluetooth stereo to a '07-'09 for $20
I've used a Bluetooth to FM converter in my '99 CR-V stock stereo for almost a year and it works pretty well. Just a little static, but sounds more like a CD than an FM radio station.
I decided to replace my iPod in my Pony with a Bluetooth to AUX cable device so I could play my music directly from my iPhone to the stock Shaker 500 system. I decided on the SoundBot SB360 sold at Amazon for about $20. Super easy setup and it's much more crisper than the FM converter in my CR-V. Just remember to turn up the Bluetooth volume to the max on your iPhone.

Is that a Droid feature?
I don't think that can be done easily with an iPhone without headphones inserted or touching the screen. My belt case gives me access to volume up /down buttons, but that's it especially now that the power button is on the opposite side of my 6s and not on top.
Eager to learn, as I would like the hidden equipment look too.
