New 6 or 8 bolt billet steel flywheels (fits 11" disc) with reduced moment of inertia. Less harmonics than aluminum and only 2lbs more with less outer mass.
The ring gear is part of the actual flywheel. No need to ever replace it because it can't break off. All you do is machine it like a normal flywheel the next time you need a clutch. The flywheels are on sale for only $299. The MACH400 which will handle 425rwtq is on sale for $327. The MACH500 which will do an under rated 550rwtq is also on sale for only $449. Exedy has dual friction as well as full carbon also available to suite any need our cars have. I run the MACH600 in my twin turbo with their flywheel and can say from experience that the pedal feel is great and the engagement is tremendous. These systems WILL work on the GT500's as well. However since you have a bastardized twin disc in there already, I would recommend the 500, the 600, or even stepping up to the Hyper Single if you really want to reduce rotating mass from the GT500s.
PM for details, thanks!
