I am just finishing up a V6 to V8 swap and I need a stock intake for the 4.6. I would just get a aftermarket one that doesnt require a tune but I have heard stories where they will throw CEL and all kinds of problems. Right now I just looking to get the car up and running so does anyone have any suggestions on either a non-tune intake or where to find a stock intake I can use.

Local Junkyard isnt a option they arent open on saturday and that is the only day I can possible go

Araid Dry intake

comes with a small insert that goes in right under the MAF. This fools the computer into thinking the stock airbox is there. Obviously it will run better with a tune and the insert removed. I have one for my 2013 mustang gt and i love it. Never any problems running without a tune but like i said you arent maximizing performance.

So do I, although I swing back and forth if I really want to get rid of it. I really have no reason to keep it since I'll likely sell or trade my '07 WITH the Steeda CAI and tunes.
