Default All Season Tires...just not sure

I can't decide between these 3 tires...

1. BFG G-Force SuperSport A/S priced at $165 + $16.06 shipping=$181.06/tire.
2. Continental Extreme Contact DWS priced at $179.00 + 31.79 shipping=$210.39/tire
3. Goodyear Eagle Response Edge priced at $194.00 at the shop.

I will be going to a 255/45/18 on the back with these. It is a daily driver and still has the stock 235/50/18 tires up front for now. I like the BFGs for the fact that they're the cheapest and will still "match" my front tires. What I like about the Continentals is the ratings. The guy at the Goodyear shop reall pushed theirs (obviously) and gave me a good price but they're a little poorer rating from what I've seen online.

I need an A/S tire for snow in the future. I'm definately buying one of these three, I just don't know if the Goodyear is much better of a tire for the money. Here's the order I'm kind of leaning right now...

#1-BFG G-Force, descent tire/good price/matches fronts
#2-Goodyear ResponseEdge, in stock and good price
#3-Continental DWS, great reviews

I hate decisions...

Stay away from the response edge. Horrible! Trust me, and thats coming from the guy who worked at Goodyear for 19 years. The F1 All season would be a better choice.

Go with the DWS. Those will perform very well in the dry, wet and snow. The BFG's would be my second place suggestion.

I DD my car with the BFG S/S tires. They are GREAT tires, and from DT, I bought them for 600 shipped for all 4, with lifetime warranties. They handle awesome, and even after a heavy amount of abuse (racing, etc.) and almost 10K miles, they have close to 75 % tread life. They are very quiet, nice tread design, great at high speeds, the firewalls don't give out, etc.

I have them in a 275/40/17. I would recommend those BFG's over anything when looking for a tire that is inexpensive and overall great. Even in winter, the BFG is good in ice, and snow/sleet.

Good luck!

I DD mine with the Conti's and love them- they're absolutely amazing in rain, snow, ice whatever. The only thing I wish it had is stiffer sidewalls because on real sharp turns while dry you can feel the sidewall flex a bit. That being said, I'm real glad I got them and I don't plan on going back.

Goodyear Eagle GT's are worth considering as well, IMHO.
