Default 20 x 10 or 18 x10 offset

Tried researching and somewhere got confused maybe read too many posts or some vendor has wrong info. Anyhow. If I go with an 18X10 or a 20X10 will the tire and rim come out towards the fender more than stock or does the +42 mm offset take care of that?
Think it puts around 6.45 back spacing but I think my stock 2008 bullitts have 50 mm offset if what I've read is correct. Its on a custom 69 f-100 basically its a mustang with a truck body, so I have more room on inside of rear wheel than out.

I may be reading your question incorrectly, so assuming you want to install these wheels on your '08.

The off-set is the concern here, as the diameter won't effect clearance in this way. The "typical" off-set/back-space of a 10" wheel for your '08 is +45mm/7.2", respectively. The wider the wheel, the less variation you can have in those numbers and still avoid rubbing.

1"=25mm, so the 6.45" back-space is going to put your proposed wheel about 3/4" farther outward and see you as real close to rubbing on the fenders. If you have the opportunity, install them on your car and see if they fit and don't rub

Thanks I think I confused my question What it was different vendors listed different off sets for the "same wheels"

I'm running the 2008 wheels or a modified 69f-100. I need more traction in the rear sO I wanted to run wider wheels for more rubber.

The stock bullitt wheels or cali special fit perfect. What I need to know was if the deep dish 10" wide put the extra width towards the backspace?

Or what is the offset of a stock 2008 wheel and I could do the math. All I can find is a post that mentions +50 mm offset for them that would put backspace at about 6.2?
