Look out Dodge, with 750 horsepower, the Super Snake Concept is coming for the Challenger Hellcat.

Since the release of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the world has been patiently waiting to see what Ford has in store when it comes to the absurdly powerful pony car/muscle car segment. Well, if this concept is anything to go by, Shelby American has big things in store.

As Motor Trend reports, the tuning company recently revealed the 2017 Shelby Super Snake concept at its corporate headquarters. And yeah, the vehicle is insane. Built off a 50th Anniversary Shelby Super Snake, the monstrous pony car looks like it’s been injected with the same batch of steroids that Bane used to take down Batman.

The Super Snake concept was built at Shelby American’s facility in Las Vegas. It’s four inches wider and approximately three inches longer than a traditional Mustang. Reportedly, this was done to maximize handling. But we also think it might have had something to do with helping the car’s looks. The concept is finished in an amazing shade of Lightning Blue. And it’s fitted with upgraded suspension components, including track suspension, beefier rear lower control arms, a performance-oriented spindle, and other goodies.

Power is the thing that is sure to blow everyone away, though. It comes from a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that generates 750 horsepower. The motor is the same one that’s found in other Super Snakes. For the moments when things get a little too fast, the car features Brembo Shelby brake system with 16-inch rotors and 4-piston calipers at the front and 14-inch rotors with 6-piston calipers in back.

The new Super Snake concept looks like a Mustang that’s been taken up to 11 in the best way possible. And enthusiasts in the Southern California area this weekend will be able to see it in real life at the 5th Annual Carroll Shelby Tribute and Car Show on Saturday. If you’re in the area don’t pass the opportunity by to see the car. And if you’re there, tell… no beg, Shelby American to build it.
