Slow Mustang? Perhaps the Eclipse Is Right for You

Slow Mustang? Perhaps the Eclipse Is Right for You

Nothing hurts quite like losing your first street race because your Mustang just couldn’t pony up. If you too have suffered a recent loss, consider taking Eclipse.

YouTube channel /DRIVE has expertly captured all of the side effects of switching to a Mitsubishi Eclipse, including points like addiction to boosting, hatred toward Subaru owners, spontaneous forum memberships, and losing a race in your Corvette Mustang. While this might sound terrifying, it’s a great way to get you back on the track.

You do need to be careful, and avoid Eclipse if it has additions like underglow lighting or vertical doors. Also, of course, crashing can totally lead to injury and/or death.

Last but not least, in a brilliant nod to 2001’s racing classic The Fast and the Furious, you should discontinue use of Eclipse immediately if you experience sudden loss of floorboard. In the the race that started the franchise, Paul Walker’s neon-green Eclipse starts popping rivets and losing pieces.

If you need a good laugh, check out the video below, and consult your local forum to see if Eclipse is right for you.
