This one does sport a 289 under the hood, so it’s not like you won’t be able to merge on the freeway without saying a few prayers first. The 4-speed manual transmission helps, and adds considerably to the fun quotient. And with nice features like power steering and brakes, you won’t have to fight it to navigate the local shopping mall parking lot when it’s time to hunt some Easter eggs.

This classic pony is a nice reminder that not all Mustangs have to be high horsepower, tire-shredding beasts. After all, sometimes you just want to take your time and enjoy the scenery. Like after a long gray winter, when colors begin to bloom around you. Which includes that nasty pollen, of course, but that’s what they make car washes for!
