eBay listing asks $185,000 for a ’67 Mustang that’s been crafted to be the perfect dragster.

Pony up. On the cash, that is, because this 1,800-horsepower Boss 429-powered ’67 Mustang could be yours. Though, if your checking account is anything like ours, you’ll probably need to pull a few friends in on the deal. The seller is asking a whopping $185,000 for this beast.

1,800 horsepower Boss 429

Not exactly the classic deal of the year, huh? Even more interesting, that’s more money than it actually took to craft the custom Mustang, according to a Ford Muscle report. Given the car’s long list of custom mods, you might take into account the time invested when assessing the cost.

The initial goal with the build was to create the perfect pro drag radial car. That meant carefully selecting the best parts for every phase of the build, according to Ford Muscle.

Some of the custom specs include carbon fiber floors, custom race seat, and a chrome-molly certified roll cage. The car also features custom sheet metal to improve the car’s performance on the strip, as noted on its official eBay listing.

Of course, the heart of the Mustang is the iconic Boss 429, but this one isn’t your typical 429. Nope, far from it. In fact, it appears that the only true similarity between this ‘Stang’s powerplant and an original Boos 429 is the valve cover. This beast of a build is powered by a one-off, all-aluminum, 600 cubic-inch Boss 9 block that features a Holley Dominator electronic fuel injection, a custom Hogan sheet-metal intake, and two Nitrous Outlet dry foggers along with a few other extras.

The end result is one bad-ass, mean-sounding Boss 429 that’s capable of a four-second eighth-mile run, as showcased in the video below.
