RTR Spec 5 10th anniversary Mustang from Lebanon Ford

RTR Turns 10 this year, and the fun haver and crew teamed up with Lebanon Ford to create a run of 10 extremely special Spec 5 Mustangs.

If you are a big modern Mustang enthusiast, you have undoubtedly heard of Lebanon Ford Performance. They are the dealership cranking out absolutely wild Mustangs for surprisingly low prices. Whether it be their 700 plus horsepower Roush Phase 2 supercharged Coyote Mustangs for under $40,000 with a warranty, or their new “Project M” Mustang that makes a ridiculous 1,000 horsepower for only $55,000, Lebanon Ford can handle any task you throw at them. It makes good sense, then, that they are teaming up with RTR for this wild project.

The RTR Spec 5 Mustang is a special car that is usually only for track use. However, since RTR is turning ten years old this year, they have decided to let ten examples run wild in public. The Spec 5 is the absolute epitome of what a Mustang can be, and Lebanon Ford is holding nothing back on these builds.

Lebanon Ford and RTR with Vaughn Ghittin Jr to Build ten Spec 5 Mustangs for public sale

What is RTR?

For those unaware, Formula Drift legend Vaughn Gittin, Jr, aka “The Fun Haver,” founded the RTR brand — aka Ready to Rock — to give Mustang owners “aggressive but stylish” appearance upgrades.

“I started RTR 10 years ago as a project of passion,” said Gittin, Jr. “I wanted to bring something new and fresh to the Mustang World. Now 10 years later, I have an incredible team at RTR Vehicles, and we have multiple RTR models available all over the world for Ford vehicles. While we are just getting started, we thought it would be a great idea to celebrate our first decade of living the RTR dream by launching this 10th Anniversary Spec 5. This 10th Anniversary Mustang RTR Spec 5 is the most epic representation of what RTR stands for, modern aggressive styling, easily drivable inducing power, adjustable performance to suit customer’s needs, and overall just the right enhancements that an owner needs to stand out from the crowd with. I am so pumped to see this 10th anniversary on the street.”

The Spec 5 Mustangs include a Phase 2 supercharger setup making a whopping 750 horsepower. Additionally, it consists of some drivetrain upgrades like axles and half shafts to cope with the extra power. Of course, it also includes the iconic RTR grille and front end. Who could forget the standout RTR grille lights? To top it all off, it includes an RTR rear spoiler, a host of RTR splitters, and a dash plaque signed by The Fun Haver himself.

Not the usual Lebanon Ford Price

Every Spec 5 RTR Mustang will come in lead foot grey, but the customer gets to choose their accent color. Things like the mirror caps, splitters, and portions of the spoiler are painted this accent color.

Now to address the elephant in the room. They are not cheap. According to the Lebanon Ford website, they are $50,000 on top of the original vehicle price. Considering the base price of a Mustang GT, these cars will be upwards of $85,000 after taxes and fees. They’re not exactly the most affordable Mustang. Then, they aren’t exactly a standard Mustang, either. This is a chance to own a rare piece of Ford and RTR history. We have no doubt they’ll sell every one of them without issue. We just hope they get treated as they should by their new owners. They want lots of RPMs and track time!
