Mustangs drifting?  Not that interesting.

Mustangs drifting with a Corvette engine? Slightly more interesting.

Drifters in Hungary have slapped the heart and soul of a Corvette into the body of a late model Mustang for the purposes of driving sideways. That’s pretty much the definition of heresy. But you know, in the world of drifting, having mismatched engines and chassis isn’t such an uncommon thing.
I don’t understand why they used the LS7. Not saying it’s a bad choice, but the Coyote V8 is just fine at spinning the wheels. Maybe the donor car was missing an engine. These guys are from Hungary. While the Mustang and it’s associated parts are easy to find in the US, the Mustang isn’t sold in Europe. The Corvette is, however. And if you need a V8, there’s not shortage of spares from crashed out Corvettes.
A Mustang with a Chevy engine is sure to rustle some people’s jimmies, but the guy’s who made the video are good sports about it.
